April Tuckertown Tournament:

"COLD AGAIN!!", is what The One Bass Club members where saying in the early morning of the April Tournament at Tuckertown. It eventually warmed up very nice and was a wonderful day of fishing for the club. There was a total of 24 members that turned out for the tourney and 13 of them weighed in a fish.

Brad Foley won the tourney with a nice 5.27 pound fish. Foley remarked, " I was shouting with excitement when I got fish in the boat." He was very happy to have bestest the day for a first place trophy and bragging rights till next tourney.

Andrew Wallace backed his second place finish at Badin up with another second place finish at Tuckertown. He weighed a nice 4.95 pound fish and took over the point lead.

Congratulations guys and thanks to all the other members who fished.

The next meeting is on Thursday May 13th from 7:00 pm till 7:30 pm and will be held at Promise Baptist Church in Thomasville. The address is 10 Maiden Park. I have included a link for directions to church.  http://www.mapquest.com/mq/1-RdG82T3W

The next tournament is at High Rock Lake Southmont on Saturday May 15, 2010 from 6:00 am till 12:30 pm.

Derick Livingston still holds the Big Fish of the Year standing with a 5.74 pound fish he weighed in at Badin in March and with spring fishing and spawn almost over that fish may hold out for the year.
